Hi last week-end a few of us made the trek to Bargara to participate in the Chevy Nationals. We enjoyed catching up with some of our friends from the Rum City Rodders and fellow Chev owners from as far away as South Australia. The weather was great and people came out in mass. Connie & I did a cruise up to Elliot Heads after the show on Sunday and locals said to us that they have not seen that many people in Bargara even in the Xmas holidays. Warren & Sue took out Overall Top Modified with their 34 pickup, a hell of an effort when you saw the quality of vehicles on display. We were lucky enough to take out Top Modified 1948-1954 with our 1954/53 210 sedan. James & Rhonda (ACMC members) took out Top Authentic 1911-1936 with their 1932 Confederate Roadster.
Even though Kerry could not speak he loved hot rods and tuff cars, their lines, sounds and chrome made him smile and give him a car book and he was happy as. Once again thank you for attending his funeral today and thanks to all the people who came for a drive to show him their cars as he truly loved it.
