They went off very well with around 1500 rods and customs attending. The reports from members who made the trip have been all positive, every one had a ball and were amazed by the diversity. Unfortunately the raffle car did not come our way but maybe next time. The photos below a really sweet van, a Chevrolet Coe truck, orange tudor, 32 blue coupe, a 36 tudor that you may know and a shot of the inside of the ring which is only one group, it was impossible to gain a shot that caught all who attended.
Sunday 14th we headed off around 9am, we picked up Lloyd & Terry along the way & had morning tea at Mt Larcom. We were joined by a few of the Reef City Rod & Custom & after a chat they guided us into the Gladstone port, around Yarwun we were joined by fellow members Paul & Leza. At the Port we caught up with the rest of the Reef City crew. All up we had around 36 of us sharing a lunch in a beautiful location under clear blue skys. After a bite to eat the Booce balls came out and so did the competitive nature of a few. Unfortunately we were beaten but we did enjoy catching up with friends, having a chat. Mid afternoon we packed up and headed for home. Thank you to all who were able to attend and made the day so enjoyable.
